  A FAMILY OF MARINES    I don't personally know the webmaster of this site but I'm pleased that this site alphabetically comes first on this list or link of websites. This is truly a website that shows a Family (The Drakes) that have contributed so very much to OUR country while serving in the USMC. This website really reflects a great amount of professional work also. There's a lot to see on this site!  

  AMERICAN VETERAN SEARCH    This website makes it very easy for you to find the person or information you're looking for. This site also has other veteran links.  

  AMPHIBIOUS TRACTORS --or--LVT MAINTENANCE    Michael Dahlkamp is a retired Marine who has a passion for all generations of LVTs, this site is his personnel "I LOVE ME WALL" of his 30 years associated with maintenance on the LVTs. These unique vehicles have made the Marine Corps unique and the one word that describes our role in the world: AMPHIBIOUS. Very good site with some great pics.  

  AMTRAC PLATOON      Tom and Kelly Jo Williams have an Award winning page! Lots of pictures. The amtrac in Vietnam along with the many operations Tom's platoon participated in and other interesting links makes this site a very pleasurable place to visit.  

  ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY    A site where Valor proudly sleeps. If you were at all moved by the bravery and dedication of the United States forces portrayed in the motion picture "Saving Private Ryan," this site affords a place for you to help the National D-Day Memorial Foundation!  

  BATTLE OF DAU TIENG    "This web page is dedicated to the memory of Robert W. Hartsock (Medal of Honor) and at least 41 other brave sons, fathers, uncles and friends who were lost to us the night of February 22, 1969 in and around Dau Tieng RVN." This is a really MUST SEE website.  

  CHARLIE COMPANY    "C" Co. 1st Bn 506th Infantry, 101 Airborne (Airmobile) site is filled with stories and memories from other Vets, links to other Vietnam Vet websites, a lengthy Roster Page, some fantastic pictures and a lot more. I have spent a lot of time on this excellent site as it really does capture your thoughts. This website is bookmarked as I visit it frequently to view the updates and read those writings I missed on my previous visit.  

  DAN'S UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS PAGE    Dan is obviously one PROUD MARINE as it clearly shows in this excellent website. Dan's site contains a brief history of himself; he was with Golf Co. 2nd Bn. 27th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division. This site also covers POW/MIA issues and has an abundant list of military sites.  

  DELTA RAIDERS    This site was created by Sgt. Al Mount, one of the original Delta Raiders to honor the men of D Co. 2/501st Inf. 101st Airborne Div. killed in Vietnam between 1967 & 1972. This site also provides a place surviving Raiders can come to remember their fallen comrades and remain in touch with each other.  

  DENNIS M. SHEPPARD'S HOMEPAGE      This site is dedicated to the Veterans of the Vietnam War. If you are a student looking for historical information in the form of photographs and text this site is for you. Feel free to contact its members about their experiences in Vietnam. There's a chatroom on this site too.

  GOMER'S HOUSE    This website contains an excellent picture gallery, links to other Veteran websites, a TRIBUTE page and the names of the men honored on this website. GOMER'S HOUSE is a site that should have an Awards section as it's very patriotic and moving.  

  GRAYSON'S COUNTY'S POW/MIA'S    This site is very professional looking but more importnatly when you visit this site you know that the webmaster really cares about our POW/MIA's. Poetry, links to other sites and some MIDI files to listen to are here.  

  GUNNER JIM'S AIRBORNE WEBSITE    "A proud Vietnam veteran who is a full blooded Seneca Indian living on the Allegany Indian Reservation. I was in the B-2/501st Infantry (101st Airborne) RVN-class of 67-68. I have found over 60 of the guys in our company and I'm always looking for MORE!"  

  HOTEL CO.; 2nd BAT.; 1ST MARINES    This award winning website gives you an indepth look into the Marines who served with Hotel Company. The links on this excellent site have stories written from the heart, music and other USMC information.  

  IT'S JUST A NAM THING    This website has alot of information about almost everything. 1st Bn. 27th Marines Welcomes Home ALL on this site and as much as there is to see here, it's easy to navigate and also has many other links to Vietnam Vet websites  

  JACK'S VIETNAM    This site has some great pics and Jack has put some of his favorite links on his page  

  Khe Sanh VETERAN'S HOME PAGE    This is one of those well developed websites that has been around for awhile. It has plenty of photos, history pages of other Vietnam units, excellent poems and stories, links to other military sites and much more.  

  KILO COMPANY 3/7    This award winning website carries on the tradition of Kilo Company 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines. Individual Vietnam photo albums, past and future Reunion information, links to other Vietnam websites, a Company Roster and other data can be found here.  

  KILO CO. 3/5    This website has some good links and A company roster, a tribute to Fallen Brothers, some great photos, links to Vietnam maps, Ron Heath's letters home and a page reserved for stories about 1968's Tet Offensive.  

  KITCHEN TABLE GANG    I was very impressed with this caring website. This website's sole purpose is to comfort and honor these hospitalized veterans by encouraging folks on the Internet to send them magazine subscriptions, newspapers, "Care" packages, greeting cards and pre-paid calling cards, etc. to these brave men and women. These are all things that you can do yourself from the comfort of your home.  

  LIMA SITE 85    Ron has put together one fantastic and exemplary website. There is so much invaluable information, well told story, memorandums and telegrams on this website that you MUST SEE this to not only believe the work that's gone into it but to gain a knowledge you're not likely to find anyplace else.  

  MAPS OF VIETNAM    Even though this room is under construction it has quite a few maps of Vietnam and even a refresher section for those of you who might have forgotten how to read those grid coordinates, etc. I found this website very unique and informative.  

  MARBLE MOUNTAIN    Great pictures of Marble Mountain Complex and some history of the mountains.  

  MEMORIES    It's always so moving for me when I see another family member create a website for one of our Fallen Brothers! Judy has put together an outstanding site about her brother, William "Billy" Young who gave all he could on Febuary 6, 1968; QuangNam Province. God Bless you Judy and Billy!.

Placing this website in my list of links pleased me tremendously as this is not only a very well written website but has some excellent information available.  

  MY MILITARY PAGE    AJ Alberts has some valuable words on his website. He also has some excellent links. Even though this site is not exactly a Vietnam Vet site, there's definitely room here for a Marine's website such as AJ's for this well put together site.  

  NAVY FROGMEN--UDT SEAL TEAMS    Every Vietnam veteran has heard about the courage and what it takes to become a NAVY SEAL. Visit this site and learn first hand about the SEALS.  

  NEVER FORGET    This site memorializes our brothers and sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice to their country while serving in Vietnam in an aviation unit or any unit that was in support of or attached to an aviation unit. Leave a remembrance here.  

  9TH AVN. BN. MESSAGE BOARD GROUP    This LZ is for Aviators and enlisted crew members who served in Vietnam with the 9th Aviation Battalion, 9th Infantry Division. From Bear Cat to Dong Tam, land here and get together with old friends and meet new ones.  

  9TH DIVISION 9TH AVN BATTALLION    This site is located on and shows pictures of Don Gwartney's experience as a Crew Chief on Jayhawk 836. Don was assigned to Comppany A 9th Avn. Bn. in 1968-1969 at Dong Tam.

  101ST AIRBORNE DIVISION VIETNAM VETERANS' WEBSITE.     Very well put together site. This site is dedicated to the brotherhood of Veterans who were assigned or attached to the 101st Airborne Division, 101st Air Cavalry Division or the 101st Airborne Division (Airmobile) in Vietnam..  

  118th AVIATION COMPANY VIETNAM VETS    Welcome to all Vietnam Veterans who were assigned to or in any way connected with the 118th Avn Co (AML), the 118th AHC or the 33rd Trans Co.  

  155th ASSAULT HELICOPTER COMPANY HOME PAGE    This site has some great grahpics and Earl updates his site regularly. He has put some of his favorite links on his page and this award winning site has some really good pictures and his Unit History, other Units are displayed with honor.  

  POW/MIA FORUM HOMEPAGE    Ted Guy was an Air Force Fighter Jock who had flown over 200 missions, serving in both Korea and Vietnam. On March 22, 1968, while attacking an automatic weapons position over-looking Route 9 in Southern Laos near Tche-pone, Ted's F-4C sustained heavy damage and he went down. Besides a moving account of Col Ted Guy, this excellent site contains POW/MIA documentation, invaluable information and questions that cannot go without answering.  

  RANGER MOM'S WEBSITE    This website is in the beginning stages, however, while visiting there I couldn't help but to feel the deep sincerity that was being put into this site. I look forward to returning as I can see it will be a fast moving and growing place; the webmaster has written a book entitled: "REMEMBER ME The Soldiers of the Clouds" which was about 12 men who never made it home. Ranger Mom plans on going far beyond these 12 brave men and welcomes all to her site.  

  REMEMBRANCE of Khe Sanh    This site has a lot of stories and photos of the Khe Sanh Combat Base and surrounding areas by Khe Sanh Veteran, Jim Wodecki, USMC, and Pilot "Rusty" Wings. If you're looking to find some info about Khe Sanh this is definitely the site you want to visit; it's absolutely thorough in its writings. Excellent site.  

  SGT FATS' LINKS    John's award winning page, a site I was honored to present an award too is very informative and written with an intense personal touch. While at this site you will find information on Vietnam Veterans, Internet Links, advice, music, humor, Awards, free Graphics, PTSD Info. John was with 2/47th Ninth Infantry Division. Also photos here, and John updates frequently.  

  SGT HUEYS PLACE    This website has some very interesting pictures of Gary's Vietnam tour as a Crew Chief. This site is dedicated to the men of the 68th Assault Helicopter Company, those who made it back and those who gave everything.  

  SIMPLY SOUTHEAST ASIA    This website contains a tremendous amount of value. It has an exceptional amount of links to other Vietnam websites along with Rememberance links to those who are no longer with us. There's a section on this site for "OUR" Canadian Vietnam Vets...The North Wall  

  SOLDIERS OF THE CROSS    This award winning site has some good links but the primary purpose of our site is to let you know about the 400,000+ Viet Nam veterans that are incarcerated.  

  STEVE BRAMHAM'S CAMPAIGN HEADQUARTERS    Steve Bramham is the Vice President of the VVA National and his excellent website has links to online meetings, surveys i.e. the reaction of Jane Fonda's "apology" on the Barbara Walters show. Plenty to do on this fast loading site.  

  SUPPORT THE VIETNAM VETERAN STAMP    Support of the Proposed Vietnam Veteran Stamp by joining their campaign, operation Paul Revere. "Our mission, a proposed stamp, conceived and designed by John Crane, Kenneth J. Mabe, and Jeffrey R. White, for the continuation of the Veteran stamp series originally issued in 1985. The purpose of the stamp is to honor the approximate 3.0 million Veterans that actively served in the Southeast Asia Theater of Operations as well as the over 6.0 million other men and women that served in the Vietnam Era world wide."  

  THE CROW'S NEST    This website is dedicated to all the men and women who serve our country proudly. Who went when called without asking WHY. This site has links on Agent Orange, POW/MIA tributes, links to other Vet sites, a host of other links and all in all a site well worth visiting.  

  THE FEW    I owe such a deep gratitude to this Marine Corps website. While browsing through their lengthy guestbook, a wife of a Vietnam Vet friend of mine found my email addy. I talked to this friend the other night on the telephone. THANK YOU "THE FEW." This site has message centers, all kinds of forums, and chat which sets out to reunite those old friends you thought you lost touch of.  

  THE NAM DRIVERS    This page is dedicated to those often unheard of people who worked, fought and sometimes died while doing their part in VietNam. These men didn't seek glory. They didn't have the opportunity to gain fame as the grunts did. These men drove their vehicles with men and supplies to almost every region and place in VietNam. Excellent site!  

  THE OLD GUARD    This site has many other Vietnam Vet links along with the webmaster's personal statement; My reasons for putting this together is to honor those who did not return. As well as those who returned to a non receptive nation. This is a very well put together site.  

  THE SAPPER    You're quickly reminded of the pride our Australian VietVets hold when you enter "THE SAPPER." The Sappers Association Queensland was founded in Brisbane in the beginning of 1992 to foster and maintain the pride of both current serving members and ex serving members of the Royal Australian Corps of Engineers. Ken "Dasher" Wheatley was a tunnel rat while in Vietnam.

  THE VIRTUAL WALL    It's just amazing what people have done for the Vietnam Veteran out here on the Internet and this website is but another fine example of the work veterans are still accomplishing. Each year, visitors place thousands of letters, poems, photographs and other mementos at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (theWall). You may leave a message at the Virtual Wall, or add to one, attached to the name of your friend or loved-one.  

  TIM'S MILITARY PAGES    This site started with Love to my father that has passed on. He was a Korean and Vietnam Veteran. I served three years active Army and retired in the Army National Guard. One thing lead to another. It always moves me when a son or daughter dedicates their sites to Dad! Way to go Tim. Keep up the good work brother.  

  USAF AC-119 GUNSHIPS    This excellent website is dedicated to the "little-known" air and ground crews and support staff who flew and maintained Air Force Special Operations AC-119G Shadow and AC-119K Stinger gunships during the Vietnam war. Some very good pictures here too.  

  U.S. K-9 UNITS SENTRY DOGS    This website was very moving to me as the webmaster explores many of the same areas in Vietnam that I was stationed at or near i.e. Marble Mountain Complex. This site also contains some very good pictures and links to other Units. The webmaster writes: We will try to accurately tell the story of those who served in the units and when, and so doing be a resource for locating members of the units and a path for communications   

  USMC COMBINED ACTION PLATOON WEB SITE    This site has to be one of the best and first sites I went to years ago. "The struggle was in the rice and among the people, not passing through, but living among them, night and day ... and joining with them in steps toward a better life long overdue." Tim "CapVet" Duffie has put years into making this exemplary site one you just don't want to miss seeing. Moving stories, unit histories and graphics are but a few of the things you'll find on this excellent site.  

   USMC MIA's EDWARD WILLING/JAMES EGAN JR. WEBSITE.      This fine website has some excellent graphics along with favorite links. James Egan Jr. USMC, disappeared on 01-21-1966. The message: looking for members of Jim's unit Battery "H", 3rd Battalion, 12th Marines is very clear on this website. "I am in direct contact with his friend Capt. Leroy E. Blessing, USMC RET. who wishes to find out more on Jim's fate," writes Pat.   

  USMC/VIETNAM HELICOPTER ASSOCIATION (POP A SMOKE)    These guys really pulled "A LOT" of us out of some really tight situations and their excellent website is a great testimonial to their work. "Today, we are once again locating all those that we flew combat missions with. Through our organization's newsletter, and now the Internet, we are establishing and maintaining contact with all former Marine helicopter pilots, crewchiefs, gunners, corpsmen, flight surgeons, chaplains, maintenance and other support personnel." See this site for sure!  

  VET FRIENDS    This recently founded website is for active duty, reserve, and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces to locate their friends whom they served with. This excellent site is not only filled with help and assistance but it's done in a most professional manner.  

  VIETNAM HELICOPTER FLIGHT CREW NETWORK (VHFCN)    VHFCN provides a forum for recreational communications amongst a fraternity of aircrew members who served in Vietnam during the period 1961-75. Topics cover the entire spectrum from Vietnam to reunions and everything in between...I found this excellent site so comprehensive and filled with valuable info that it's a MUST SEE!  

  VERMONT VETERANS' LINKS AND MEMORIALS    This site has a real feel of patriotism to it and also many many good Vietnam Vets' sites to be found on this website.  

  VERMONT VIETNAM VETERAN'S WALL    The "100" names on this wall represents only the names of those confirmed as KIA. It does not include POW/MIA's. This site also has plenty of links back to other Vietnam Vet sites and some very moving poems.  

  VIETNAM VETERANS of 2nd Bn, 1ST Reg., 1stMarDiv    Besides having some good links to other Vietnam Vet and USMC pages, this site has some excellent stories that will leave you very moved.

  WAR STORIES    Don Poss has an Award winning page for his compiliation of Vietnam war stories, information on Vietnam and an unbelievably huge MIDI file database.  

  WELCOME TO MILITARY USA    Even though this page is not exclusively for Vietnam Veterans, I chose to list it here because there's a section for VietVets but also a military locator.
